Essential to TC Transcontinental Packaging operations, the Maintenance Technician will perform major / minor repairs, preventive maintenance, and install a variety of production equipment as well as maintain building and grounds. Work from daily job assignments, prints, schematics, facility check sheet, machine manuals and preventative maintenance sheets.

Schedule : 2nd shift M-F 3PM-11PM, shifts may vary based on business needs.

Compensation : $35 - $40 / hr depending on experience.

Primary tasks and responsibilities :

• Upholds all ethical standards associated with safety, quality and food safety policies and procedures within the facility, including the TC Transcontinental Code of Conduct and values.
• Complies with all the standards that are followed in the TC Huntley plant, including, but not limited to-Health, Safety, Wellness (HSW), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Safe Quality Food (SQF), Continuous Improvement (CI) and any other processes established within the TC Huntley plant.
• Responsible for reporting all safety, quality, and food safety problems to personnel with authority to initiate action.
• Performs other duties as requested or assigned.
