Job Full Description

We are currently seeking a 3rd shift Maintenance Technician for a manufacturing client located in Fitchburg!

These are great direct hire opportunities with a company that offers full benefits, growth, and great opportunity for advancement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensures operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer's instructions, and engineering specifications; troubleshooting malfunctions.
  • Locates sources of problems by observing mechanical devices in operation; listening for problems; using precision measuring and testing instruments.
  • Troubleshoots production issues to eliminate downtime and makes repairs in a timely manner to meet production needs- Maintain records of maintenance on all plant equipment.
  • Maintain continuity among work teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities and continuing needs.
  • Controls downtime by informing production workers of routine preventive maintenance techniques; monitoring compliance

Requirements

  • Ability to read electrical, mechanical, hydraulic blueprints and machine manuals
  • Must be willing to work flexible hours in support of continued education and staff fluctuations
  • Must be experience with Microsoft Suite programs. Experience with CMMS program (Maximo)
  • Candidates must be enrolled or willing to enroll in an accredited Maintenance program
  • Organizational skills and ability to prioritize work
  • Strong oral and written communication skills to write up an equipment analysis for root cause documentation
  • Successful candidates will also be required to successfully complete required coursework in the field.

    • Pay : $26 - $37 / hr. depending on experience. Pay increase offered with completed coursework.

    Hours : 3rd Shift - 9p-5a Sun-Thurs
