Description

• Ensure the safe and efficient operation of all machinery and safety of all buildings.
• Perform diagnostic tests to ensure system functionality. Detect malfunctions through observation (sound, visual or computer diagnostic). Make required repairs in a timely fashion.
• Thoroughly clean machines and machine parts, removing parts and reinstalling as necessary.
• Oil and lubricates moving parts on machines to ensure effective performance.
• Order necessary parts to perform scheduled and nonschedule maintenance.
• Build and maintain mechanical systems, to include the use of of a variety of hand and power tools.
• Use of aerial / scissor lift to access areas at height for inspection and repair.
• Use of forklift to move machinery and equipment for inspection and repair.
• Read, interpret and follow instructions to include operation and other manuals.
• Perform monthly inspection of fire extinguishers.
• Perform general maintenance work on buildings as assigned to include plumbing, electrical work and painting.
• Schedule, oversee and assist assigned contractors, ensuring the safety, quality, and cleanliness of work performed. Escorts contractors in critical areas when required.
• Perform electrical assignments, such as replacing lamps, ballasts, switches, receptacles, and cord caps, wiring single and three-phase motors, and installation of circuits (110V, 220V, 480V, and DC voltage), with required understanding of electric / equipment controllers.
• Perform daily site inspections of facilities and mechanical equipment to ensure proper operation, completes all maintenance checklists.
• Follow directions and work as a member of a team. Escalate maintenance and safety issues through concise communication as required.
• Additional duties may be assigned as deemed necessary by management.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $26.00 / hr.
