Job Title : Maintenance Supervisor

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Supervisor to oversee and coordinate daily activities of hourly employees. This role is essential in driving continuous improvement in safety, quality, and productivity within our fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Daily supervision and coordination of all hourly employees.
• Drive continuous improvement in safety, quality, and productivity.
• Support spare parts inventory discussions to ensure machine efficiency.
• Collaborate with plant trades to ensure all tasks are properly documented.
• Support the establishment of all assets and preventive maintenance tasks for proper maintenance tracking.
• Lead role in resolving machining-related concerns and increasing machine availability.
• Identify throughput constraints and implement root cause improvements.

Work Environment

This position is based in a dynamic UAW stamping / assembly plant running 3 shifts (A, B, and C crew). The facility operates with a focus on continuous improvement, proactive planning, and cross-functional collaboration. The role involves managing unionized hourly personnel and ensuring a safe and efficient production line. Applicants must be shift flexible and willing to work overtime and weekends as needed. The initial shift is from 6 : 30 AM to 3 : 00 PM, consisting of 8-hour shifts, with the potential for additional hours as launch dates approach.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Sterling Heights, MI.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $43.00 / hr.
