Openwork is partnering with a respected client to hire dependable Maintenance Workers who help keep operations safe, organized, and efficient. This is a strong opportunity for individuals who take pride in hands-on work and are looking for consistent hours with long-term potential.

Position Summary
As a Maintenance Worker, you will support facility cleanliness, sanitation, and overall operational efficiency. You will follow all health, safety, and Quality Management System (QMS) standards while ensuring the work environment remains compliant and production-ready.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Follow verbal and written instructions from supervisors.
- Sweep, clean, and maintain plant floors.
- Clean and sanitize pallets, tools, and equipment.
- Remove and properly dispose of trash and waste materials.
- Maintain assigned indoor and outdoor areas.
- Complete utility tasks and obtain required sign-offs.
- Shower at the end of each shift before leaving the facility.
- Cross-train in production areas as needed.
- Assist with material movement and general labor tasks.
- Operate a forklift when trained and authorized.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Minimum of 1 year experience in industrial janitorial, sanitation, maintenance, utility, or warehouse roles.
- Forklift experience strongly preferred.
- Ability to wear a respirator for most of the shift.
- Must be clean-shaven to ensure proper respirator fit.
- Comfortable working with PPE and adhering to strict safety standards.
- Basic math skills, including measuring and calculations.
- Strong time management and ability to prioritize tasks.
- Ability to work in hot and cold environments.
- Physical stamina to stand, bend, kneel, crouch, and lift throughout the shift.
- Ability to lift 50–70 pounds regularly.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
Pre-Employment Requirements
Employment is contingent upon successful completion of city, state, and national background checks and drug screening in accordance with applicable regulations.
