Salary: $75,000 - $90,000 per year A bit about us: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced accountant to join our growing team. This is a permanent position where you will be responsible for managing a wide range of financial and accounting activities. You will be a key player in ensuring financial integrity, preparing financial reports, and implementing financial strategies. Your role will also involve the use of Accounting ERP, retail accounting, and ERP Implementation. Responsibilities: Oversee and manage the general accounting functions, including, but not limited to: accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and taxes Manage the monthly financial close process, including ensuring all costs incurred are properly recorded, reviewing journal entries, account balance reconciliations and report preparation Participate in the ongoing development/establishment of accounting policies and procedures and operational strategies including the review and implementation of process and system changes. Collaborate with external auditors and HR for comprehensive audits of company's financial status, payroll, and regulatory compliance Conduct regular ledger processes, prepare financial reports, and reconcile invoices Implement and monitor the ERP system and other accounting systems and software Analyze financial data and create monthly reports to present to senior leadership Ensure compliance with state and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings Develop and implement financial strategies, as well as contribute to strategic planning and decision-making at the management level to align financial management with short and long-term financial planning and projections Job Details Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or MBA preferred Minimum of 2+ years of professional accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership role Proficiency in Accounting ERP, retail accounting, Financials, Monthly Reporting, Ledger, ERP Implementation Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) Proven knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles, practices, standards, laws, and regulations High attention to detail and accuracy Ability to direct and supervise Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously Excellent communication and leadership skills Strong problem solving and analytical skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
