LOCATION Onsite Position BancFirst Tower Downtown Oklahoma City 100 N. Broadway Ave. Oklahoma City, OK 73102 HOURS Full Time POSITION OBJECTIVE Under the direction of the CISO and Network Security Manager, assists in the protection, detection and response of cyber threats against BancFirst’s hardware, software, and networks. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Monitor, investigate, and respond to security alerts. Manage network security technologies, such as firewalls, to include implementing rules, segmenting networks, troubleshooting issues, and updating technologies. Monitor and administer endpoint protection solutions, such as end point protection or anti-malware. Monitor vulnerability management systems and report status of vulnerabilities to technicians. Manage and monitor identity management solutions. Conduct threat research and assess cybersecurity practices. Implement, monitor, and troubleshoot encryption technologies, such as VPN. Develops and maintains technical documents and flow diagrams for the department. Apply cybersecurity expertise in assessing and addressing applications, systems, networks, and hardware. Occasional in-state travel required with occasional evenings and weekends. Performs other job-related duties as assigned. SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED Advanced understanding of networking fundamentals Ability to troubleshoot problems and implement effective solutions Excellent written and verbal communication skills Must work well in a team environment Broad range of LAN/WAN and desktop knowledge with a security focus Network Protocols: TCP/IP, BGP, EIGRP, OSPF etc. IPSEC VPNs Cisco and Palo Alto Hardware Microsoft Windows Operating Systems Linux Operating System MS SQL database systems Web applications Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent experience 4 plus years of experience as a Network Security or related IT field Minimum of 4 years with Microsoft Windows Server, Windows, & TCP/IP Minimum of 2 years experience with a VMware ESX server environment Minimum of 2 years experience with a MS SQL environment Minimum of 2 years experience with Linux WORKING RELATIONSHIPS Routinely mentors, directs, collaborates and assists with the activities of other Network Administrators/Engineers, and other IS Support Staff. May provide consultation on complex projects and is considered to be a top level contributor/specialist. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
