The Position
Our client is seeking to fill a Treasury Management Assistant role based in the Nashville, TN market. The selected candidate will be responsible for deepening client relationships by offering cash management solutions by focusing on supporting Commercial and Retail Bankers with retention and maintenance of existing clients. This position also provides complex account administrative support, troubleshooting, and implementation of Treasury Management Services for the Business and Commercial Banking clients.
The position includes a generous salary of up to $45K and excellent benefits package.
Treasury Management Associate responsibilities include:
- Producing agreements or other documentation necessary for all Treasury Management Products/Services and updates the various departments accordingly.
- Performing necessary computer system maintenance and setting up new accounts and changes to existing accounts.
- Responding to customer inquiries and requests including, but not limited to, telephone transfers, wire transfers, Cashier’s checks, ordering banking product/supplies, stop payments, closing accounts, account maintenance, and providing interim statements.
- Providing administrative support for Treasury Management Officers/Managers.
- Servicing large complex depository relationships. Assisting customers with general questions regarding all facets of Treasury Management products and services including positive pay, controlled disbursement, lockbox, repurchase accounts, CD ROM, and account analysis.
- Managing relationships and business development through the cross-selling of Treasury Management products and services.
- Setting up and capturing Treasury Management product revenue appropriately.
- Maintaining a thorough understanding of Treasury Management products.
- Supporting the sales and service goals for the assigned region.
- Proactively seeking new customers through referrals and prospecting.
- Delivering the quality of service as defined by department standards.

You also bring the following skills and experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or economics preferred.
- Three or more years of Treasury Management experience preferred.
- A basic understanding of bonds is preferred.
- Strong math skills are required for success in this position, along with good analytic and computer proficiency skills.
- Basic knowledge of treasury and cash management products, services, procedures, financial and account analysis.
- Proficient in MS Word and Excel, working knowledge of general computer applications.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
