This position is Monday - Thursday 7:30 am - 4 pm and Fridays 7:30 am - 2 pm
No weekends, no evenings, no holidays
Supervision Exercised:
Provides direction to staff in regards to patient care
General Summary:
Educate and advise patients, diagnose and treat health problems, and provide general health care under the direction of the physician
Works under the supervision of the attending physician(s)
Principal Duties & Responsibilities:
Example of Essential Duties:
- Obtain comprehensive patient histories.
- Perform physical examinations.
2. Diagnose and treat health care and chronic diseases.
3. Order and interpret diagnostic studies such as lab work and x-rays.
4. Assess patients. Develop and implement treatment plans approved by physician.
- Promotes positive health behaviors and self-care skills through education and counseling.
- Administer medication upon order of physician.
7. Collaborate with physicians as needed.
Other Essential Duties May Include (but are not limited to):

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required:
Required:
- Active Physician Assistant License from the Ohio State Medical Board
- Knowledge of Physician Assistant theory, practice and medical care, medical equipment and instruments, and OSHA regulations.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to analyze and determine solutions in order to best serve the patients.
- Consistently arrives at work, in professional attire, on time and completes all tasks within established time frame.
- CPR required.
Education:
- Master’s Degree and licensed as a Physician Assistant in the State of Ohio
