Description
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Acts as a project leader responsible for the successful planning, scheduling, and completion of multiple operations planning and improvements projects.
- Utilizes a systems methodology to analyze organizational systems and processes, to make recommendations for operation improvements and to coordinate the implementation of changes, working through individual and team approaches.
- Coordinates and supervises the work of a project team.
- Reviews and coordinates team member work plans.
- Facilitates and guides redesign teams and process improvement teams. Works with manager to formulate plan for professional development.
- Attends educational in-services as appropriate.
- Participates in professional activities and organizations to maintain knowledge of current trends, practices, and developments.
- Assists in analysis of facility needs including work flow analysis, space programming, functional layout design, and simulation technology.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- A bachelor's degree in industrial engineering or a related field.
- Three years directly related work experience.
- Masters degree may substitute for experience.
- Experience as a project leader.
- A working knowledge of multiple computer software applications.
