Job Description
Serves as point of contact for information regarding management status reporting requirements and human resources management compliance.
Conducts studies of various functions, obtaining, compiling, analyzing, evaluating, and synthesizing information to recommend improvements.
Serves as liaison for management/employee relations, workmen's compensation, and employee benefit actions.
Provides regulatory interpretation, guidance, and assistance regarding such things as authorized leave, work schedules, computation of service dates, retirement benefits, awards, health and life insurance benefits, and on-the-job inquiries.
Analyzes and interprets Human Resources guidance to advise management and employees of the legal, regulatory and policy guidelines as it relates to the areas of staffing, classification, and compensation.
Ensures management and all levels of personnel are kept informed of new or changed guidance, procedures, and policies.
Provides advice and assistance for manpower management functions.
Plans, organizes, and advises on reorganizations, realignments, and other manpower actions.
