Akkodis is seeking a Consultant for a Contract with a client in Houston, TX. Candidate must have strong SAP Security expertise with deep handson experience implementing SAP ETD SaaS and developing detection patterns for security risk scenarios.

Rate Range: $75/hour to $90/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Consultant job responsibilities include:

• Leading architectural connectivity between onpremise or privatecloud SAP systems and the SAP ETD SaaS instance.
• Configuring and optimizing SAP log providers such as Security Audit Log, Read Access Logging, and Change Documents to ensure accurate data ingestion.
• Developing, testing, and deploying custom detection patterns aligned with organizational securityrisk scenarios.
• Integrating ETD alerts with SIEM/SOAR tools like Splunk to enable centralized monitoring and security orchestration.
• Establishing operational runbooks and driving optimization efforts, including falsepositive reduction strategies and tenant health checks.
• Analysing SAP kernel logs and audit trails to support forensic investigations and strengthen threathunting capabilities.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 8-10 years of experience required.
• Strong SAP Security background with proven expertise in SAP ETD SaaS implementation, log ingestion configuration, and detectionpattern development.
• Ability to integrate ETD alerts with SIEM platforms and optimize security operations through runbook creation, performance tuning, and forensic log analysis.

Pay Details: $75.00 to $90.00 per hour
