Job Details Responsibilities: As a Senior Accountant, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to: 1. Overseeing the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with GAAP. 2. Developing and maintaining cost accounting systems and procedures, ensuring accurate allocation of costs to products and services. 3. Conducting financial forecasting and risk analysis, and preparing detailed budgets and financial projections. 4. Coordinating with internal and external auditors, ensuring all processes and reporting are in compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements. 5. Analyzing financial data and creating comprehensive reports for management, providing insights to support strategic decision-making. 6. Participating in the formulation of financial policies and procedures, and ensuring their effective implementation. 7. Assisting with the management of the company's tax planning and compliance. 8. Collaborating with other departments to streamline financial operations and improve financial performance. 9. Providing training and guidance to junior accounting staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment. Qualifications: The ideal candidate for the Senior Accountant position will possess the following qualifications: 1. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A Master’s degree or CPA certification would be a plus. 2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role within the manufacturing industry. 3. Profound knowledge of financial and cost accounting principles, practices, and procedures. 4. Excellent skills in financial forecasting and budgeting. 5. Strong analytical skills, with a keen eye for detail and the ability to identify financial trends and anomalies. 6. Proficiency in using accounting software and other related IT systems. 7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present complex financial information in a clear and concise manner. 8. Strong leadership and team management skills, with a proven track record of developing and motivating teams. 9.
