This role is integral to our manufacturing operations and offers the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology and machinery. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating machinery sketches and manufacturing designs, and will play a crucial role in supporting our ongoing manufacturing processes. You will be working closely with our team of engineers and designers, using your expertise in technical drawings, component configurations, machine layouts, industrial design, Solidworks, CAD, dimensional sketches, and manufacturing. Job Details Responsibilities: Create and modify machinery sketches, technical drawings, and manufacturing designs using CAD and Solidworks. Collaborate with the design team to create and optimize machine layouts and component configurations. Support the manufacturing process by troubleshooting and resolving issues related to machinery and equipment. Conduct field service visits to install, maintain, and repair machinery and equipment. Provide technical support and training to staff on the operation and maintenance of machinery and equipment. Collaborate with the engineering team to improve manufacturing processes and machinery efficiency. Maintain detailed documentation of all work activities, including service reports, issue logs, and design changes. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role in the manufacturing industry. Proficiency in CAD, Solidworks, and other design software. Strong understanding of machine layouts, component configurations, and industrial design. Proven experience with technical drawings and dimensional sketches. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex machinery issues. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical staff. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Must be willing to travel for field service visits as required.
