Salary: $18 - $20 per hour A bit about us: We are partnering with a small, specialized manufacturing company in Vancouver, WA that produces carbide-tipped chainsaw chain products for industrial use. This is a stable, tight-knit team environment where most employees are trained on the job due to the unique nature of the equipment and processes. The team is currently looking to bring on a Machine Operator to support production and eventually step into responsibilities being transitioned from a retiring senior operator. This is a great opportunity for someone with basic mechanical aptitude who wants to build a long-term career in manufacturing. Why join us? Typical hours: 5:00 AM – 1:30 PM (Monday–Friday) Some flexibility on shift timing based on production needs Starting pay: $18–$20/hour depending on experience Steady, long-term work with opportunities to grow skills over time Job Details Responsibilities: Operate and monitor production equipment used in carbide-tipped chain manufacturing Perform basic machine setup, adjustments, and changeovers as needed Use hand tools and measuring tools to maintain quality standards Perform routine inspections of product and equipment during production runs Assist with basic preventative maintenance and keep work areas clean and organized Work closely with a small team to maintain consistent production output Requirements: 1–3+ years of experience in a manufacturing, machine operator, or hands-on mechanical environment preferred Basic mechanical aptitude and comfort using hand tools Ability to follow instructions, learn new processes, and be trained on specialized equipment Strong reliability, work ethic, and willingness to be part of a small team Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a production environment Interested in hearing more?
