Overview

We are looking for an experienced Assistant Manager to help the General Manager in directing daily business operations. The Assistant Manager should be experienced in a supervisory role, and be able to confidently deliver performance feedback, set goals, foster teamwork, and clearly communicate business objectives. The AM must be able to competently perform duties in the absence of the General Manager.

Metro Auto Parks is a privately-owned parking operations and management company. Metro's Preferred Parking Program currently offers monthly and daily parking at many locations along the rail lines and busways. This program allows Metro patrons to park in the designated Preferred Permit Parking area of the facility when the vehicle is displaying a valid permit.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or equivalent required.
• 1-2 years of experiencing preferred.
• Able to calculate and perform basic arithmetic functions in the application of revenue accounting and cash accounting.
• Must have excellent verbal communication skills and basic computer skills.
• Must be able to work in a team environment.
• Must have a valid driver's license

Dependent upon location, parking attendants might have to stand or sit for prolonged periods.

Responsibilities

• Making sure employees that report to you meet performance expectations.
• Giving instructions or orders to subordinate employees.
• Ensuring that the work environment is safe, secure and healthy.
• Meeting deadlines.
• Approving work hours.
• Ensure great customer service at all levels.
• Greeting customers and informing them where to park.
• Assisting customers during the checkout process if help is needed.
• Be flexible for operation needs and schedule (evenings and weekends)

*Supervisor will be responsible for the managing of operations/employees with shift flexibility.*
