Contract Type: W2/ C2C
Location: Jacksonville, FL (#LI-Hybrid)
Duration: 6 months plus
Pay Range: $45 - $53 per hour on W2 or C2C
Summary:
We are looking for a Supplier Manufacturing Engineer with a strong background in manufacturing engineering and supplier management to improve the quality and efficiency of our supply chain for data center equipment. The role involves collaborating with suppliers to ensure high-quality manufacturing processes, conducting supplier qualifications and assessments, and driving continuous improvement in manufacturing. This position will play a crucial role in enhancing our operations by focusing on manufacturing process improvements, quality standard adherence, and cost efficiency strategies.
Must-Have Skills:
- Profound knowledge and application experience in process development and improvement.
- Solid understanding of quality management systems.
- 3+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering or supplier management.
- Experience in manufacturing engineering or supplier management.
- Certifications in lean manufacturing or six sigma.
- Proficiency in CAD software and manufacturing simulation tools.
- Experience with data center infrastructure and equipment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Develop and implement enhanced manufacturing processes for precise data center equipment at supplier facilities.
- Execute comprehensive supplier qualifications and assessments to ensure adherence to our stringent quality and manufacturing standards.
- Work collaboratively with suppliers to promptly rectify manufacturing issues and enforce corrective actions.
- Vigilantly monitor supplier performance metrics to foster and execute continuous improvement plans.
- Efficiently manage project timelines and deliverables pertaining to supplier manufacturing engagements, ensuring meticulous collaboration with procurement, quality, and design engineering teams.
Required Industry Experience:
- Experience in data center infrastructure and equipment is highly desirable, along with familiarity with lean manufacturing and six sigma methodologies..
