We're on the lookout for skilled technicians to support the mass production of Leo satellites. Your contributions will be vital in ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality, reliability, and security. Key Responsibilities:
- Promote safety standards across all work zones.
- Assemble and test avionic LRUs and electrical-mechanical assemblies, while expertly handling fiber optics and PCBs.
- Maintain and calibrate lab equipment as required.
- Perform preventative maintenance on test equipment and data acquisition systems.
- Identify equipment needs and process enhancements while managing inventory.
- Independently prioritize tasks to meet production goals.
- Conduct component and system level testing as part of standard procedures.
- Coordinate the receipt of shipments and deliveries using appropriate handling equipment.
- Contribute to the optimization of SOPs and safety protocols.
Additional Requirements:
- Availability for all shifts including overtime and weekends as necessary. Typical day shift is 4/10's 6 AM - 4:30 PM, Wednesday to Saturday.
- Willingness to commute between sites.
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and perform various manual tasks, including lifting up to 25 lbs unassisted.
Export Control Requirement:
Due to export regulations, candidates must be U.S. citizens or nationals, U.S. permanent residents, or individuals lawfully admitted into the U.S. as refugees or granted asylum.
Candidates must be 18 or older, capable of understanding and following all job and safety requirements.
The starting pay for this position in Washington State is up to $33.50/hour with opportunities for raises based on tenure. Comprehensive medical, financial, and additional benefits are offered.
A Day in the Life:
Become part of a dedicated team of technicians with over 20 years of diverse experience. Whether working independently or collaboratively, you will contribute significantly to our mission. While we are currently in R&D, we are gearing up for a production environment.
Basic Qualifications:
- At least 1 year of experience in a high traceability manufacturing environment or a relevant trade school certification.
- Experience using hand tools and precision measuring instruments such as calipers, multi-meters, and torque wrenches.
- A minimum of 1 year working with test tools and methods to validate systems.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering documentation.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Aircraft & Powerplant (A&P) certification/license.
- CFOT certification or equivalent experience.
- Airman or Avionic certification or comparable experience.
- ASE certification or equivalent experience.
- Experience working in a fast-paced production environment with flight hardware.
- Familiarity with FOD, ESD-sensitive hardware, and clean room standards.
- Expertise in Electro-Mechanical Assembly, Final Integration, Fiber Optics/Optical, and/or Harness Integration.
- Aptitude for adapting rapidly to new roles and responsibilities in a challenging environment.

Starting pay for this position is $33.00 - $36.00 per hour based on experience and shift selection. Additional compensation includes overtime and performance bonuses, with benefits available from day one of employment.
