We are seeking a part-time high school teacher to join our esteemed faculty at Beth Jacob High School of Denver, as a science teacher. About the Role:
As a Biology and Physiology teacher at Beth Jacob High School of Denver, you will be responsible for teaching a part-time load of science classes to our students. You will be expected to create engaging lesson plans that align with our curriculum standards and provide a supportive and inclusive learning environment for all students. Your expertise in biology and physiology will be invaluable in helping our students develop a deeper understanding of the natural world and their place within it.
Responsibilities:
Teach part-time load of biology and physiology classes to students in grades 9-12
Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with our curriculum standards
Create a supportive and inclusive learning environment that fosters academic success and personal growth
Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to students and parents
Requirements:
Part-time teaching experience in biology and physiology or another science
Bachelor's degree in biology, physiology, or related field and high school teaching experience
Strong instructional and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively with students of diverse backgrounds and abilities
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
Demonstrates respect for and sensitivity to the religious values, customs, and practices of an Orthodox Jewish environment.
