Manager of Market Access Forecasting

As a Manager of Market Access Forecasting, you will support the quarterly Managed Care forecast process and contribute to volume and trend analysis, epidemiology modeling, financial analysis, and performance metric evaluation for the Managed Care organization. In this role, you will collaborate cross-functionally with Account Management, Finance, Contracting, and Access Strategies teams to deliver forecasts and provide analytical insights that inform business decisions. This is an onsite opportunity in Alameda, CA.
What You'll Do
- Support the development, refinement, and ongoing maintenance of Managed Care forecasts across multiple product portfolios
- Effectively collaborate with Account Management, Strategic Contracting, and Finance to align on key assumptions and inputs
- Incorporate payer coverage, contracted rates, formulary positioning, and utilization management criteria into forecast assumptions
- Drive forecasting best practices, standardization, and continuous process improvements
- Maintain clear documentation and transparency around key assumptions, methodologies, and outputs
- Establish and track forecasting KPIs, and produce regular reports to monitor forecast accuracy
- Present insights, findings, and recommendations to leadership to inform strategic decision-making and planning
- Complete special projects and other duties as assigned
Experience You'll Bring
Required
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field or an equivalent combination of education and work experience
- Minimum 7 years of related professional experience
- Strong analytical, quantitative, and communication skills
- Solid financial acumen, with the ability to build and execute financial models in Microsoft Excel
- Excellent problem-solving, critical-thinking, and time management skills
Preferred
- Experience with Tableau or other data visualization/BI tools
- Familiarity with coverage policy databases (i.e. MMIT, Fingertip Formulary/DRG, Policy Reporter)
- 5+ years forecasting and/or analytical experience, preferably within the healthcare industry in a market science or business analytics role
- Familiarity with U.S. market access dynamics; experience in the diabetes and/or medical device space is a plus
