Position : Assistant Professor of Marketing

Effective Date : August 17, 2026 (Fall Semester)

Salary Range : The Assistant Professor AY 2025-26 classification salary is $74,652 to $158,688 / year $6,221 to $13,224 / per month (12 monthly payments per academic year). The anticipated hiring range is $131,000 to $141,000 / per year, $10,916 to $11,750 / per month. Salary offered is commensurate with qualifications and experience.

The Department of Marketing in the College of Business at California State University, Long Beach (CSULB) invites applications for the tenure-track Assistant Professor position to start in Fall 2026. This position is targeted toward consumer behavior.

Required Qualifications :

• Ph.D. or DBA in Marketing or a closely related field. Degree at time of application or official notification of completion of the doctoral degree from AACSB accredited or equivalent schools by August 1, 2026.
• Demonstrated potential for effectiveness and excellence in teaching marketing courses at the undergraduate and graduate levels
• Demonstrated potential for research, scholarly and creative activities in consumer behavior and its marketing applications leading to publications
• Demonstrated commitment to working successfully with a diverse student population, including low socioeconomic and first-generation students
