Are you a creative, detail-oriented student eager to help fuel the future of retail technology? At Dover Fueling Solutions (DFS), we are seeking a Marketing Intern to join our team at our North America headquarters for a high-impact summer experience. Reporting to the Marketing Communications Manager, you will play a key role in auditing our content, analyzing the competitive landscape, enhancing our digital presence, and providing strategic recommendations for the team to implement.
Core Project Focus Areas:
Content Strategy & Audit: Conduct a comprehensive audit of current marketing collateral to ensure messaging consistency and identify gaps for new asset development.
Competitive Analysis: Research and report on competitor product launches, digital presence, and market positioning to inform DFS's strategic goals.
Website Creative Work: Support the digital marketing team with website updates, blog content, and creative assets that improve the online customer journey.
Technical Skills & Software:
Required: High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Preferred (Nice-to-Haves):
Marketing Automation: Experience or familiarity with Marketo.
Design: Basic skills in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, or Illustrator) for website creative support.
Web Development: Fundamental understanding of HTML for content updates.
CRM: Exposure to Salesforce for lead tracking and data management.
Responsibilities:
Complete project-based work in branding, digital content creation, and social media.
Collect and analyze performance metrics to measure the impact of marketing efforts.
Apply marketing concepts to solve real-world organizational challenges in the fueling and clean energy technology sectors.
Contribute fresh ideas to enhance the brand’s standing in a collaborative, global environment.
Assist management with performance reporting and campaign preparation.
Skills and Qualifications:
Educational Status: Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program in Marketing, Communications, or Business preferred.
Analytical Ability: Strong skills in conducting market research and distilling data into actionable insights.
Creative Mindset: Ability to assist in website creative work and basic content design.
Communication: Excellent written and verbal skills for effective team collaboration.
Meticulous Detail: High organizational standards for managing content databases and project deadlines.
Collaboration: A "team-first" attitude with a desire to grow and learn.
