We are looking for an experienced data analyst to support Vimeo’s growth team. The right person will have a strong analytical background with equal parts technical and communication skills. They will have previously worked in product analytics or data science with a focus on data-informed results.
What you’ll do :
Drive and lead strategic, cross-functional initiatives in order to enable data standardization, increase data consumption and boost data-driven decision making.
Communicate findings and insights effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Work with stakeholders to plan, develop, and analyze A / B tests.
Build and maintain user-friendly and informative dashboards, reports, and presentations in order to enable day-to-day and strategic data-driven decision making.
Perform advanced analytical deep dives to help stakeholders drill down into why they see certain outcomes.
Foster a relationship of trust and cooperation with the stakeholders, creating an atmosphere of knowledge sharing and collaboration.
Skills you will need :
Bachelor’s degree (preferably in Business, Economics, Statistics, or Computer Science) and 5 years of experience in a data analytics role (preferably in a SaaS business).
Strategic thinker with a proactive approach to identifying and solving business challenges.
A sense of ownership – capable of independently initiating and driving projects from beginning to end.
Proficient in interpreting complex datasets, extracting valuable insights for informed decision-making. Skilled in identifying patterns and translating business questions into effective analytical solutions. Demonstrates a problem-solving mindset and stays current with evolving data analysis methodologies.
High proficiency in SQL is a must.
Extensive experience in planning and analyzing AB test results.
Proficient in Excel and Google Sheets (pivot tables, keyboard shortcuts, etc.
Expertise in data visualization tools (Tableau, Looker, Power BI, or similar).
Experience with R or Python.
Base Salary Range :
NYC Metro, Bay Area, Seattle, & Los Angeles : $118,000 – $162,250
All other US cities outside above metro areas : $106,200 – $146,025
