What You Will Do

The Marketing Manager is an integral part of the marketing team and a key leader in communicating the AHBL Mission & Vision, culture, capabilities, and competitive differences to current and potential clients, to the extended A/E/C, development, and owner community and internally to AHBL employees. In this role you will:

  • work independently to develop marketing initiatives and plans for all assigned market sectors;
  • host monthly marketing meetings as assigned; distribute and communicate after action reporting for all internal and external meetings;
  • attend events and distribute and communicate after;
  • manage and assign all proposals to marketing coordinator staff; responsible for QA/QC on all proposals submitted to clients; develop schedules, work toward deliverables and communicate progress with Marketing Director and team;
  • drive momentum to achieve quarterly goals set out by the Marketing Director and the Leadership Team;
  • engage the Marketing Coordinators to support on-going proposal and business development efforts by sector; and
  • drive business results through business development efforts for all assigned business sectors.

Here's Our List Of Must-Haves

  • Bachelor's degree (BA) from four-year college or university and eight to 10 years of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Knowledge of database software, design software, and internet software. Experience with Adobe Creative Suite 5 or newer (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat X pro); Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook; experience with Deltek Vision is a bonus.
  • Technical Savvy: Work often involves composing or editing answers to technical essay type questions.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to function in a team setting and take direction from colleagues, as well as mentor junior staff.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills with ability to multi-task and shift gears rapidly.
  • Can-do and positive attitude, flexible, and ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline driven atmosphere.

Compensation And Benefits

  • $90,000 - $120,000 per year
  • Sign on bonus
  • Annual discretionary performance-based bonus.
  • 100% paid employee medical, dental, vision, prescription coverage, life insurance and long-term disability protection. Subsidized dependent coverage.
  • Option of PPO health plan or HDHP with Health Savings Account (HSA) with company contribution.
