Job Duties
1. Conduct market research and data analysis to support the company’s travel arrangement, tour package, customer acquisition, and marketing activities, including inbound South Florida tours, customized tour packages, cruise-related travel products, hotel and transportation arrangements, and outbound travel services.
2. Collect, compile, and analyze data regarding customer demographics, travel preferences, booking patterns, seasonal demand, tour package performance, competitor pricing, local tourism conditions, online customer behavior, and the effectiveness of marketing campaigns.
3. Design, administer, and summarize customer surveys, questionnaires, feedback forms, and other data collection methods to evaluate customer needs, service preferences, satisfaction levels, purchasing patterns, and factors affecting demand for travel-related services.
4. Compile and organize information from internal sales records, customer inquiries, booking histories, online travel platforms, website and social media analytics, public market data, tourism industry reports, customer reviews, and competitor research.
5. Analyze market trends, customer segments, promotional channels, pricing patterns, referral sources, and sales performance to identify potential target markets and support improvements to the company’s marketing and service strategies.
6. Use spreadsheet, database, survey, CRM, web analytics, data visualization, and statistical tools to prepare charts, tables, forecasts, written reports, and presentations summarizing research findings for management review.
7. Evaluate the effectiveness of advertising, digital marketing, referral programs, promotional campaigns, and tour package marketing strategies, and provide data-supported recommendations regarding pricing, customer outreach, service packaging, marketing channels, and marketing budget allocation.
8. Monitor tourism industry developments, local market conditions, competitor offerings, customer demand trends, and changes in consumer preferences, and provide regular research updates to management to support business planning and marketing decisions.
9. Maintain market research records, customer feedback summaries, competitor profiles, survey results, campaign performance records, and internal research files related to the company’s travel and tourism services.
10. Assist management in developing practical marketing plans to increase customer inquiries, improve conversion rates, enhance customer satisfaction, and support revenue growth for the company’s travel arrangement and tour service offerings.
11. The position is office-based at the employer’s North Miami Beach, Florida worksite and uses standard office equipment, business software, spreadsheet tools, online research platforms, survey tools, customer relationship management systems, web analytics tools, and data visualization tools.
Minimum Requirements
Education: Bachelor’s degree.
Major/Field of Study: Big Data Analytics, Communication Arts, Marketing, Market Research, Business Analytics, Data Analytics, Statistics, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
