About the Role:

As a Massage Therapist, you will play a vital role in enhancing the physical and mental well-being of clients through expert therapeutic massage techniques. Your primary objective will be to assess client needs and deliver customized massage treatments that alleviate pain, reduce stress, and promote holistic health. You will work closely with clients to understand their health concerns and tailor sessions using modalities such as deep tissue massage, reflexology, trigger point therapy, and lymphatic drainage. This role requires a compassionate and professional approach to healing, ensuring each client experiences relief and rejuvenation. Ultimately, your work will contribute to improving clients' quality of life by supporting their physical recovery and overall wellness goals.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Valid state licensure or certification as a Massage Therapist in the United States.
  • Completion of an accredited massage therapy program.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in therapeutic massage techniques including deep tissue massage and reflexology.
  • Strong understanding of human anatomy and physiology.
  • Ability to work flexible hours to meet client scheduling needs.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Additional certifications in trigger point therapy, lymphatic drainage, or holistic health modalities.
  • Experience working in a multidisciplinary health or wellness setting.
  • Knowledge of complementary healing practices such as aromatherapy or acupuncture.
  • CPR and First Aid certification.
  • Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems.
Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough client consultations to assess individual health conditions and massage therapy needs.
  • Develop and implement personalized massage treatment plans using techniques such as therapeutic massage, deep tissue massage, reflexology, trigger point therapy, and lymphatic drainage.
  • Maintain detailed client records to track progress and adjust treatments accordingly.
  • Educate clients on self-care practices and holistic health approaches to complement massage therapy.
  • Manage flexible scheduling to accommodate client appointments, including evenings and weekends as needed.
  • Ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment that adheres to all health and safety regulations.

Skills:

The required skills such as therapeutic massage, deep tissue massage, reflexology, and trigger point therapy are applied daily to provide effective and targeted treatments that address client-specific issues. Holistic health knowledge allows you to approach each session with a comprehensive understanding of wellness, integrating physical and mental health benefits. Lymphatic drainage techniques are used to support detoxification and improve circulation, enhancing client recovery. Flexibility in working hours ensures you can meet diverse client needs and maintain a consistent appointment schedule. Preferred skills like additional certifications and experience with complementary therapies further enrich your ability to offer a broad spectrum of healing options, improving client satisfaction and outcomes.
