Job Description

Job Title : Social Worker - Psychiatric Facility (Contract)

Overview :

Medical Edge Recruitment is seeking a dedicated Social Worker for an immediate contractual opportunity at a psychiatric facility in Pueblo, Colorado. This vital role supports patient care and recovery through compassionate social work services within a dynamic mental health environment. Pay Package : $51 per hour

Required Skills :

  • Minimum of 1+ years of experience as a Social Worker within the last 2 years
  • Master's degree in Social Work
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a psychiatric setting
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to assess patient needs and develop appropriate support plans

Preferred Education and Experience :

  • Prior experience in psychiatric or mental health settings
  • Demonstrated success in collaborative team environments
  • Familiarity with healthcare regulations and documentation protocols

    • Other Requirements :

  • Must pass a criminal record check as mandated by state law
  • Shift : 8-hour shifts
  • Contract duration : 24 weeks
  • No licensing or certification requirements beyond a Master's in Social Work
