Wages range from $19.50 to $21.50 per hour

Mechanical Engineering Interns will work directly with a team of experienced engineers to assist in the design and rebuilding of lumber manufacturing equipment. SPI is seeking motivated individuals who are interested in pursuing a career in mechanical engineering and machine design.

Duties include, but are not limited to :

• Assist full time engineers with drafting and seeing projects and sub assembly projects through the manufacturing process.
• Take on small projects that involve designing or rebuilding wood products equipment.
• Work and gain experience in a full on fabrication, machining, and tech shop.
