This unit includes post-op recovery, telemetry-capable rooms, and general adult medical care, supported by a multidisciplinary team focused on safe throughput and an exceptional patient experience.
The Nurse Manager Medical Surgical Services oversees daily operations, staffing, and scheduling while managing clinical education, competency validation, and mentorship initiatives. This Nurse Manager Medical Surgical Services drives improvements in falls reduction, infection prevention, and care coordination, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. Administrative responsibilities include budgeting, policy development, productivity management, and supply stewardship, while leveraging electronic health record (EHR) data to track performance and implement evidence-based improvements. Candidates should hold an active RN license, an associate's or higher degree in nursing, and bring at least five years of acute care experience with two years in a leadership role. Preferred qualifications include CNML or NE-BC certification, EHR proficiency, and active BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
