The role provides oversight to charge nurses, RNs, LPNs, CNAs, and unit coordinators while collaborating across Surgery, the Emergency Department, Case Management, Respiratory Therapy, Rehabilitation, and Pharmacy to ensure smooth coordination of care. The Medical-Surgical Nurse Manager will also play a key role in data-driven performance analysis and process optimization to maintain excellence in acute care services.

The Nurse Manager Medical Surgical Services leads a 20+ bed medical-surgical unit with a steady-to-fast patient flow and a team of over 30 engaged FTEs supported by experienced charge nurses and clinical techs. The Nurse Manager Medical Surgical Services will foster a collaborative and professional environment where nurses are empowered, physicians are highly engaged, and patients receive compassionate, high-quality care. This unit includes post-op recovery, telemetry-capable rooms, and general adult medical care, supported by a multidisciplinary team focused on safe throughput and an exceptional patient experience.

The Nurse Manager Medical Surgical Services oversees daily operations, staffing, and scheduling while managing clinical education, competency validation, and mentorship initiatives.
