Job Title CT Technologist Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and dedicated CT Technologist for a 13-week contract assignment in Greensboro, North Carolina. This role involves performing a variety of computed tomography procedures to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients within a dynamic healthcare environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating CT equipment, ensuring high-quality image acquisition, and providing excellent patient care. This position requires a commitment to patient safety, adherence to radiation protection protocols, and effective communication with patients and the healthcare team. Key Responsibilities Perform diagnostic CT procedures in accordance with established protocols and physician orders. Position patients safely and accurately for optimal image acquisition, ensuring patient comfort and privacy. Administer contrast media as required, monitoring patients for adverse reactions and providing appropriate care. Operate and maintain CT equipment, ensuring proper functionality, calibration, and safety standards. Review and evaluate images for quality, diagnostic accuracy, and completeness, making adjustments as necessary. Maintain accurate patient records, documentation, and imaging logs. Adhere strictly to radiation safety guidelines (ALARA principles) and facility protocols. Provide clear and compassionate communication to patients, explaining procedures and addressing concerns. Collaborate effectively with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals. Required Qualifications Minimum of 1-2 years of recent experience as a CT Technologist. Preferred Qualifications Not specified. Skills & Competencies Proficiency in CT imaging techniques and protocols across various anatomical regions. Competence in patient positioning, immobilization, and monitoring during procedures. Knowledge of contrast media administration, indications, contraindications, and management of reactions. Familiarity with CT equipment operation, quality control, and basic troubleshooting. Strong understanding of radiation safety principles and practices. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and patient care skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team. Attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities in a fast-paced clinical setting.
