Salary :
We're seeking a passionate and gifted musician to join our KCC family as a Worship Musician. You'll play a vital role in enhancing our worship experience through music during worship services (Sundays at 9am and 12pm),
funerals, and special services.
Key Responsibilities :
Move it Forward : Provide accompaniment on the keyboard and / or organfor all worship gatherings, bringing energy and engagement to every encounter.
Embrace Collaboration : Learn new material before rehearsals,work closely with the lead musician and band to prepare impactful musical arrangements,and share your creative gifts for special events.
Equipment Upkeep : Keep equipment in top condition,monitor its state,and promptly communicate any repair or replacement needs to the lead musician.
Be There, Be Ready : Honor scheduled rehearsal and worship service times, demonstrating professionalism and commitment to the worship experience.
Who We Seek :
- A skilled musician with a deep love for God and a heart for serving others through music.
- Proficiency in leading and accompanying various musical styles,including traditional hymns and contemporary praise songs.
- Strong commitment to collaboration and teamwork, able to blend seamlessly with the KCC Praise Team, Choir and other KCC praise and worship teams.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills,building positive relationships with fellow musicians and the congregation.
- A reliable and responsible individual with a positive attitude and a dedication to growth.
