Job description

A well-established, family-owned premium pet food company that has built its reputation on quality, consistency, and long-term relationships is seeking a Key Accounts Manager to oversee and grow major accounts that drive a significant portion of company revenue. With generations of success behind them, they are continuing to expand their presence across the U.S. market.

This company prides itself on producing high-quality pet food and treats using human-grade ingredients and clean, simple recipes—while maintaining a strong emphasis on family oriented values and partnership.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for key customers and distributors
  • Manage and grow major national and regional accounts
  • Build and maintain long-term, strategic relationships
  • Conduct performance reviews and present market insights
  • Align product strategies with customer needs and industry trends

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or related field preferred
  • 3–5+ years of experience in pet food or CPG sales
  • Food, drug, mass retailer experience
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to leverage data and trends
  • Willingness to travel regularly and spend time in the field
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
