Job Title : FPGA Engineer Job Description
The FPGA Engineer will play a pivotal role in developing specifications, testing, inspections, and documentation for cutting-edge nuclear reactor technology. This role involves strategizing and conducting both confirmation and validation testing of next-generation reactor systems.
Responsibilities
- Create, schedule, and perform engineered tests of new technology solutions to meet customer, design, and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate effectively with experts within the team and in adjacent workgroups.
- Demonstrate excellent technical problem-solving skills, assessing problems thoroughly and driving logical conclusions.
- Demonstrate ownership, proactively communicate, and deliver assignments on time.
- Identify, document, and lead the resolution of technical risk within each project.
- Provide firm design bases for solutions that meet business objectives, project requirements, and industry standards.
- Prepare and present technical data to co-workers and customers.
- Work closely with technicians to assemble fixtures and equipment, prepare the Test Facility, and conduct unique, often one-of-a-kind, testing.
- Develop manual or automated production test procedures to ensure product reliability and functionality.
- Provide technical support to technicians for various testing activities.
- Be willing to occasionally travel domestically and internationally to support customer / supplier meetings.

The role offers the ability to work remotely with occasional travel required to Wilmington to support onsite activities. Job Type & Location
This is a Contract position based out of Wilmington, NC.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $70.00 / hr.
