Senior Engineering Manager

As a Senior Engineering Manager, you will serve as the lead for the planning, execution, and oversight of large-scale engineering initiatives. This role provides strategic leadership and technical direction across multidisciplinary engineering teams, ensuring modernization efforts are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned with mission-critical objectives. Position may be located at Cheyenne Mountain SFS, Peterson SFB, and / or Schriever SFB. This position is contingent upon successful contract award to V2X.

Major Job Activities :

• Manages all program engineering efforts, staffing, team dynamics.
• Participates in all design reviews, tests, logistics efforts.
• Oversees and supports engineering teams assigned to each phase of DAF BIM from survey to O&M.
• Briefs leadership stakeholders regarding engineering efforts.
• Writes engineering plans, findings, recommendations.
• Supports development and review of preliminary and final SPRIP.
• Enforces engineering standards, policies, and regulations.
• Provides input to Master Scheduler regarding sequencing of tasks, durations, dependencies, deliverables, and milestones.
• Coordinates resource assignments with Program Manager and Task Order Project Managers.
• Attends or provides engineering resources to support customer meetings such as the PAC, KOM, IPT, and Program Status.
• Plans transition services with Program Manager, including WITO and O&M.
