SUMMARY :
The Network Administrator is responsible for maintaining, supporting, and optimizing the company’s network infrastructure to ensure reliable, secure, and efficient operations. This role manages the installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of network hardware, software, and related systems while ensuring compliance with security standards and company policies. The Network Administrator works closely with IT staff and business units to monitor performance, resolve issues, and support users’ connectivity needs. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive in identifying and addressing potential risks, and experienced in managing both on-premises and cloud-based network environments.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
Network Configuration and Maintenance :
- Configure, install, and maintain network hardware and software components, including routers, switches, firewalls, and access points.
- Monitor network performance and ensure optimal operation by promptly troubleshooting and resolving network issues.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as firmware upgrades, patches, and security updates to keep the network infrastructure secure and up to date.
