Job Summary and Responsibilities
As a Mobile Network Test Technician, you will be essential in executing dynamic mobile and stationary RF testing to ensure the highest quality of wireless network performance. This position involves close collaboration with engineering teams to collect and analyze field data aimed at enhancing coverage, capacity, and service quality tailored for cutting-edge 5G technologies. Please note that this role requires 100% travel.
The position will cover various regions including California, Nevada, New Mexico, Oregon, and Washington.
Key Duties & Responsibilities include but are not limited to :
- Drive Testing : Utilize advanced drive test equipment, including TEMS Pocket, X-CAL, and QXDM, to gather RF data on designated routes and clusters, both in vehicles and on foot.
- Speed Test Execution : Conduct comprehensive speed tests to evaluate network performance.
- Data Collection & Upload : Capture necessary logs for RSRP, SINR, PCI, throughput, and scanner data. Ensure precise data upload to centralized servers for thorough processing and validation.
- Follow strict test file naming conventions to maintain organization.
- Reporting : Maintain transparent communication with Circet and client contacts during the testing process, addressing and escalating any issues as necessary.
