MLee Healthcare is seeking a qualified Histology Technologist - ASCP to join a dynamic team at an established hospital in Savannah, GA metroplex . Performing preparation of routine gross tissue specimens for microscopic examination by pathologist, including surgical, autopsy, research and outside cases.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Operate instrumentation for tissue dehydration, section clearing, impregnation with paraffin, cutting tissue sections, and staining of slides
  • Prepare solutions, stains, and reagents in accordance with standards written procedures
  • Operate and maintain all histology area lab equipment in proper state of readiness, cleanliness, and sharpens and hone microtome knives

Requirements :

  • National Accrediting Agency for Clinical Laboratory Sciences (NAACLS)
  • Bachelors or Associate Degree
  • ASCP or AMT
  • BLS
