As a TruGreen Field Sales Consultant, you'll be the friendly face in the neighborhood, reaching out to homeowners in person to share the advantages of personalized lawn care solutions. With your enthusiasm, expertise, and commitment to TruGreen's proven Sales Playbook, you'll deliver tailored services right to their doorsteps, turning casual encounters into lasting customer relationships.
What You'll Do - You will represent TruGreen, connecting with homeowners face-to-face, understanding their needs, and providing custom lawn care solutions that foster trust and satisfaction. Each day presents a new opportunity to engage, educate, and earn their business.
Engage with new and existing customers through door-to-door outreach, bringing professionalism, energy, and positivity.
Tailor sales messaging to meet the specific lawn care needs of each household, since every yard (and customer) is unique.
Transform casual inquiries into signed contracts using a proven sales methodology and processes.
Log interactions and track performance using a CRM to measure activity and success, prioritizing accountability and follow-through.
Utilize your expertise to cross-sell and upsell, demonstrating to customers how to enhance their lawns.
What You'll Bring - A green thumb isn't necessary to thrive; what you need is the drive to succeed and the people skills to make each doorstep feel like a warm lead.
High school diploma or GED is required (having a PhD in People Skills is a bonus).
Previous sales or customer service experience is ideal, but enthusiasm and determination are even more valuable.
A valid driver's license with a clean driving record is essential; we need reliable and road-ready representatives.
Excellent communication skills are crucial, whether it’s engaging in small talk or closing deals; your approach should be both smart and sincere.
Strong time management skills and a self-starter attitude will help you thrive.
Comfort with technology and mobile devices is necessary (no coding required, just tapping, swiping, and going).
Physical ability to walk, stand, and occasionally lift up to 25 pounds while working outdoors is expected.

Pay Ranges : $27,669.00 - $58,865.00. This range reflects the qualifications required for the position, including experience, training, and other legally permissible considerations. Factors influencing offers may include a candidate's skills, experience, geographic location, expected work quality and quantity, and internal pay alignment. Most candidates will begin in the lower half of the pay range, while the upper end generally aligns with candidates possessing extensive experience. Employees' pay history will not be a factor where prohibited by local law. In addition to monetary compensation, we offer benefits such as Medical / Dental / Vision insurance and Company-matching 401(k) along with other programs and perks.
