A company is looking for a US News Director to lead its news operation and drive editorial strategy in the American market.
Key Responsibilities :
Oversee day-to-day digital news coverage, including breaking news and major story moments
Set and drive the US editorial agenda, identifying key stories for American audiences
Develop strategies to grow US audience reach, engagement, and subscriptions across platforms
Qualifications & Requirements :
Bachelor's degree in journalism, communications, or related field; advanced degree preferred
Minimum 10 years of progressive newsroom experience
Extensive leadership experience in US digital newsrooms
Proven ability to lead breaking news coverage and audience-focused journalism
Strong understanding of audience development and how AI is reshaping journalism
