A company is looking for a Visuals Editor to join their editorial visuals team.
Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with the art director and visuals team to create impactful story presentations
Commission and oversee the production of visuals, including illustrations and photography
Develop visual storyboards and project briefs while experimenting with innovative formats and artists
Required Qualifications
At least four years of professional experience in visual journalism, including design and photography
Prior experience working in a newsroom is required
Strong understanding of visual ethics and news judgment
Proficiency in visual design tools such as Photoshop, Sketch, and Figma
Good working knowledge of HTML and CSS; experience with JavaScript and other dev tools is a plus
