Do you enjoy creating robust technology solutions that drive operational excellence? Join Spectrum as a Systems Engineer III and shape the end-to-end deployment, configuration, and quality assurance of Charter’s hardware and systems across multiple environments. Your expertise will support all internal verticals by ensuring devices are properly prepared, configured, and documented, enabling teams to operate more efficiently, improving the quality of service delivered to Charter customers.

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Conduct design sessions with architects and engineers; create detailed design documents and functional specifications for new platforms and services
  • Collaborate on configuration designs for various environments and create work effort estimates for new features and bug fixes for prioritization and release management
  • Develop core code modules, unit test tools, and release notes for enhancements and bug fixes, and review development tools for functionality
  • Identify opportunities for automation and tooling and collaborate to design and implement them (e.g., scripted provisioning, configuration management, bulk upgrades).
  • Partner with all internal verticals to understand requirements and translate them into technical implementation plans.
  • Create MOPs and standard operating procedures to meet the skill and time needs of a constantly changing environment.

Working Conditions

  • Mixed office, warehouse, data center environments with extended periods of standing, walking, bending, and working in constrained spaces (e.g., floor pallets, racks, aisles).
  • Ability to lift up 50lbs
