TLC Nursing Associates, Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Endoscopy Technician to assist physicians and nurses during endoscopic procedures. This role includes preparing equipment, ensuring patient safety, and maintaining a sterile environment in compliance with infection control standards.
Job Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain endoscopy equipment, instruments, and procedure rooms.
- Assist physicians and nurses during endoscopic procedures by anticipating needs and ensuring smooth workflow.
- Ensure proper handling, cleaning, and high-level disinfection of scopes and related instruments following established protocols.
- Monitor and support patients during procedures under the supervision of nursing staff.
- Verify patient identification and confirm procedure details according to established policies.
- Maintain accurate records of equipment usage, cleaning logs, and inventory.
- Follow infection control practices and safety regulations to ensure patient and staff safety.
- Provide excellent communication and customer service to patients and healthcare team members.
