TRAVEL OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST (OT) | CONTRACT ASSIGNMENT JOB OVERVIEW

Seeking a skilled and compassionate Travel Occupational Therapist (OT) for a contract opportunity in the Wichita Falls, Texas. The Occupational Therapist will evaluate patients, develop individualized treatment plans, and provide therapeutic interventions that help individuals regain independence and improve their ability to perform daily activities.

This travel assignment offers competitive compensation, a consistent daytime schedule, and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on patient recovery and quality of life.

REQUIREMENTS

Active Occupational Therapist (OT) License in good standing
Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program
Current NBCOT certification preferred
Current CPR/BLS certification preferred
Previous experience in rehabilitation, skilled nursing, acute care, outpatient, or home health settings preferred
Strong evaluation, treatment planning, and documentation skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within an interdisciplinary healthcare team
Travel experience preferred but not required

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Evaluate patients and develop individualized occupational therapy treatment plans
Assess physical, cognitive, sensory, and functional abilities
Implement therapeutic interventions to improve activities of daily living (ADLs) and functional independence
Provide mobility, self-care, and adaptive equipment training
Educate patients, families, and caregivers regarding treatment plans and home programs
Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as appropriate
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, physical therapists, speech therapists, and other healthcare professionals
Ensure compliance with facility policies, professional standards, and regulatory requirements
Promote patient safety, independence, and overall quality of life

Competitive pay rate of $44.35 - $51.74 per hour
