Job SummaryAddress patient's performance to support engagement in occupations that affect health, well-being, and life qualitySelect appropriate occupational therapy treatment model, method, and approach to direct the process of interventionsConsults with OT regarding change in treatment.Understands and adheres to established Agency policies and procedures.Participates in in-service education.Assists in preparing clinical and progress notes.Improves or minimizes residual physical impairments of the patient.Teach patient's new ways of approaching tasks and educate them on how to break down activities into achievable componentsPerforms services planned, delegated and supervised by the OT.Assess patient's home and other environments and advise on alterations consistent with their needs and capabilitiesRecommend adaptive equipment and train in its useGuide and educate family members and caregivers Join Aegis Healthcare today and feel supported and appreciated in a patient-first environment. Desired Skills & QualificationsGraduate from a two-year college level program approved by the American Occupational Therapy AssociationCurrent Licensed, registered of Certified in the state of practiceMinimum of 2 years related experience preferred.Strong communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate well with different types of personalitiesAbility to exercise initiative and independent judgementEffective verbal & written communication & time management skillsValid Driver's License (clean record) & reliable transportation.Proof of current auto insurance & registrationValid AZ Fingerprint Clearance Card (we can help)Current CPR Certification (we can help) & Negative TB Test (we can test) Make a Difference with Aegis Healthcare!
