Responsibilities:
Assist occupational therapists in the development and implementation of personalized treatment plans for patients with physical, emotional, or cognitive disabilities
Perform tasks and activities designed to help patients develop, recover, or maintain daily living and work skills
Conduct assessments and evaluations of patients' abilities and limitations
Collaborate with healthcare professionals to identify and address patients' unique needs
Implement and adapt occupational therapy interventions, including exercise programs, educational activities, and adaptive equipment
Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient progress and treatment plans
Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination
Preferred Qualifications:
Associate's degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant or related field
Experience working in a healthcare setting, preferably in occupational therapy or a related field
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to lift, bend, and move patients as needed
Capacity to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
