Conduct regular and random armed patrols inside the retail location and around the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and / or suspicious behavior. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols. Observe and report any irregularities, such as property damage, theft, or any unusual occurrences within the retail environment. Interact professionally with the public and store employees, maintaining a visible presence to help to deter potential issues. Support access control procedures, monitoring entry and exit points as required by site protocols. Collaborate with law enforcement and / or emergency personnel as needed during incidents or emergencies. Complete detailed and accurate incident reports and daily activity logs as required by Allied Universal and site management. Possess a valid armed guard card or armed guard license as required by applicable state and / or local laws. Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Participate in industry-specific security training programs. Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
