Job Title : Staff Pharmacist

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacist to join a Long Term Care Pharmacy team. This role focuses on data review and order fulfillment, requiring a strong foundation in pharmacy practice and a passion for delivering high-quality care to long-term care patients.

Responsibilities

Perform clinical data review to ensure accuracy, safety, and compliance with regulatory standards.

Collaborate with pharmacy technicians and healthcare providers to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Maintain accurate documentation and participate in quality assurance initiatives.

Essential Skills

Proficiency in pharmacy practice, including order verification and prescription review.

Experience in compounding and prior authorization processes.

PharmD from an accredited college of pharmacy.

Active Minnesota Pharmacist License in good standing.

Minimum of 1 year of pharmacy experience, preferably in long-term care.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Ability to work independently on 2nd shift at times.

Work Environment

This position requires working 2nd shift Monday through Friday from 4 PM to 12 : 30 AM during training and the initial months of the assignment. The role may include being added to the weekend rotation every 3rd or 4th weekend, although a casual pharmacist currently covers most weekends. The work environment is a non-customer facing pharmacy role in a growing organization.

The pay range for this position is $62.00 - $65.00 / hr.
