The Eugene airport is a close drive away and is the second largest airport in Oregon generating over 800,000 trips annually with services to destinations like Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Phoenix, Salt Lake City, San Francisco, and Seattle.

ABOUT THE

POSITION : Pleasant Hill School District seeks outstanding candidates for the position of Temporary Math Teacher 9-12.

Minimum Qualifications :

• A valid state of Oregon teaching license, or the ability to get one;
• Advanced Math and Physics endorsements preferred;
• AP or College Now authorization preferred, or ability to become authorized;
• Successfully pass fingerprinting, criminal, Oregon Department of Education, and TSPC background checks.

Job Title : Teacher - Mathematics - High School

Reports To : Principal

FLSA Status : Exempt

JOB SUMMARY

This position is responsible for providing educational services in mathematics to a variety of students in a classroom setting. Instructs students, maintains student discipline, and is responsible for student academic achievement.
