This requirement is in place to ensure that all employees have the basic level of education necessary to perform the duties of their roles effectively. Description
The Group Fitness Instructor (GFI) is the face our Group Fitness team. The GFI will lead members in a group environment through safe and effective fitness classes. They will teach exciting and challenging Group Fitness classes for Crunch Fitness members and guests. He or she will exhibit a passion for small group class-based training and maintain a high level of energy for class attendees.
Position Requirements
Responsibilities :
- Instruct a variety of group exercise classes.
- Knowledge of fitness equipment and exercises.
- Maintain all mandatory education certifications.
- Follow all instructor sign-in / sign-out procedures.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the training rooms.
- Understand, and follow all policies, procedures, and standards.
- Demonstrate knowledge of the Crunch brand and model behavior in accordance with Crunch mission statement.
- Always maintain professional disposition.
- Build a supportive and motivating rapport with members and guests.
- Follow all club / facility policies and procedures.
- Actively promote other group fitness classes and personal training programs
- Attend all required club / team meetings.
- Execute other duties as assigned.

Fitness Ventures LLC is a development company, owning CRUNCH Fitness franchise locations and territories throughout the United States that are hugely successful and provide the communities they serve with all of the amenities of a much more expensive club-and a warm friendly environment that is hard to find in the majority of fitness clubs in North America.
The CRUNCH brand was established and opened the first CRUNCH location in NYC on June 11th,1989.
