Are you the Upper School Bible Teacher we're looking for?

To be successful as a Full-Time Upper School Bible Teacher at James Island Christian School, candidates must possess a Bachelor’s Degree or higher, ensuring a solid academic foundation in both biblical studies and educational practices. Certification by the state of South Carolina and / or the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI) is essential, or candidates must be eligible for certification, demonstrating a commitment to professional development and educational standards. Strong communication skills are vital for effectively conveying complex theological concepts, while interpersonal skills are necessary for building meaningful relationships with students.

Additionally, proficiency in educational software and tools will aid in creating engaging lesson plans and managing the classroom environment. A passion for nurturing students’ faith alongside their academic pursuits will be crucial for success in this role.

Knowledge and skills required for the position are :

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher
• Certified by the state of South Carolina and / or Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI) or eligible for certification.
